Ran is a Brigadier General (Ret.) who founded the world-renowned cybersecurity program of the Intelligence branch of the Israeli Defense Forces. After 27 years of service, Ran held multiple leadership roles in the private sector. Prior to co-founding HolistiCyber, Ran was the founder and the Co-CEO of Focal Energy – a clean energy power plant developer and owner. Prior to Focal Energy, Ran was Managing Partner of Star Ventures, a $1 billion global venture capital group. Ran started his career in the elite IDF special forces unit “Sayeret Matkal” and later became the Commander of that unit.

Moshe is a world class expert in cybersecurity. He serves as a senior advisor to several National Cyber CERT nation level committees. Moshe has over 25 years of broad experience and knowledge in cybersecurity and information systems. He has played a major role in helping global clients in the financial, technology, telecommunications and defense sectors successfully implement cybersecurity defense strategies. Before co-founding HolistiCyber, Moshe served as the CEO of COMSEC – the first and largest information security and cybersecurity consulting group in Israel. Moshe worked for the Israeli DoD, Chaired nation state cyber security committees, was a senior advisor of the Israeli National Cyber Bureau, and Israel’s National Cyber Authority.

Michael brings nearly 20 years of marketing creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to HolistiCyber. Prior to joining the team, Michael served as the VP of Global Marketing at SCADAfence, where his leadership helped the company secure significant growth in new customer acquisitions and ROI, resulting in an exit to Honeywell. 

Michael’s accomplishments in marketing leadership also include turning a small, declining startup into a successful, profitable, world-leading vendor in their vertical, resulting in an exit to Commvault during his tenure as Director of Marketing at TrapX Security. Prior to that, as VP of Marketing at AMC, he rebuilt the company’s entire marketing architecture, bringing in strong revenue figures that the firm hadn’t seen in decades.

Michael studied at Harvard Business School, at Bar Ilan University for his MBA & Lander College for his BS degrees in Marketing and Business Management.

Alon Yavin brings to HolistiCyber over 20 years of technical and management experience in various professional services, project management and R&D positions in the cybersecurity space. Before HolistiCyber,  Alon led the R&D teams and, later, the professional services of White Cyber Knight where he was responsible for developing innovative enterprise GRC tools. Prior to White Cyber Knight, he led large PKI projects at leading banks in Israel. Alon has previously served as a software development team leader and project manager at the leading edge Israeli Defense Force Information Security Center. Alon holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and an MBA, both from the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology.

Prior to joining HolistiCyber, Shir was the founder and CEO of SEZ Strategy, a company providing strategic planning for high technology start-up companies.  Before SEZ, she held positions in product management, business development  and customer service for Dario, a healthcare company that creates innovative mobile and digital tools that empower and engage users to lead healthier lives. Previously, Shir was a senior project manager of business development at Medingo Roche, a medical device company that was engaged in the development of solutions for people with diabetes. Shir also served as senior manager at Ernst & Young in the business consultancy group specializing in assisting startup companies from healthcare, and cleantech arena. Shir received a B.A. in Economics and Computer Engineering from Ben Gurion University. She received an M.A. in Economics from Tel Aviv University.

Itai has over 25  years of experience in Product Management and Development . Itai held various senior executive and leadership roles Including CEO of Ericsson Media Solutions , Director of Product Management at LogMeIn, VP of Products at Olive-software as well as  Director of Product Management at Amdocs where he founded the internal innovation team and led the development of products from the  initial idea phase  to more than $100M in sales revenue.

Itai founded ‘startsaba’ hub , an education center connecting  teenagers with the high-tech industry. He also  teaches  entrepreneurship  at Tel Aviv and Reichmann university and  Tech product management at the Technion. Itai holds an MBA from Thames Valley University; an MA in Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Economics from Tel Aviv University.

Peter is experienced in implementing cyber-defensive controls in the face of nation-state and hands on keyboard attacks. He is passionate about understanding the threat, and what it really means in terms of risk, before considering any kind of security change. Formerly directing the commercial and threat intelligence teams within the detection and response division of F-Secure, Peter is now responsible for HolistiCyber’s commercial and delivery activities across the EMEA region.

Avery has served as a member of our board of directors since 2019 after leading the most recent funding round for HolistiCyber. Mr. More has been investing in Technology companies since 1994 through his own funds and working with larger VC Funds (Sevin Rosen and Menlo Ventures). Recent successful liquidity events were the SolarEdge IPO, the sale of Datorama to Salesforce.com and the Sale of Dome9 Security to Checkpoint Technologies. Prior to his Investment career, Mr. More was the president and chief executive officer of CompuCom Systems Inc. from 1989 to 1993. Mr. More currently serves on the board of directors of Appdome, OverOps & BuzzStream. Avery holds an Electrical Engineer degree from the Technion.

Ronen Lago is the CEO of OPORA.IO. He has two decades of experience in developing and deploying advanced intelligence systems and cyber information security products. As the former CTO and Head of R&D in Tier-1 enterprises, Ronen led a range of innovative multidisciplinary global development teams at CYE, Daimler AG, Lockheed-Martin, Israeli Air Industry and Motorola.  Ronen served in an elite military intelligence unit and holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Business Management.

Zohar Alon

Zohar Alon is a cyber security pioneer, serial entrepreneur, and investor.  In the late 90s, as one of the early employees at Check Point, Zohar created Provider-1, the first security management solution for MSSPs still used by many today. Zohar’s third start-up, Dome9 Security, defined and led the Cloud Security Posture Management category before it was acquired by Check Point for $200M in 2018. As an independent investor, Zohar focuses on Cyber, Cloud & DevOps, SaaS and B2B opportunities, and serves on the board of FireFly, Adaptive Shield, Tamnoon, HolistiCyber and Monogoto among others.

Mr. Halevy served as the Ninth Head of the Israel Secret Intelligence Service (The “Mossad”) 1998-2002 where he served for forty years. In 1996, he became the Israeli Ambassador to the European Union. Following his service in the Mossad, he was appointed as the Head of the National Security Council. He is also the Head of the Center for Strategic Studies Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is the Chairman of the Israeli (Shazar) Center for Jewish History. Mr. Halevy is the author of the book ” Man in the Shadows.”

Lord Evans graduated from Bristol University with a degree in Classical Studies and joined the MI5 Security Service in 1980, working on counter-espionage investigations. Over the years, he transitioned to focus on protective security policy and later became involved in countering international terrorism. In 2001, he became Director of international counterterrorism, just before the 9/11 attacks. He served as Deputy Director General before becoming Director General in April 2007 until his retirement in April 2013. For his public service, he was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath (KCB) in 2013 and became a life peer as Baron Evans of Weardale in December 2014. He also holds a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.

Mr. Arditi holds over 35 years of operational experience in the national security, intelligence, and counter-terrorism fields. He has worked with the Israeli Prime Minister office, National Security Council, Counter Terrorism Bureau, and IDF General Staff, where he oversaw numerous programs, operational and technological, to protect sensitive national systems and sites. These include strategic installations, infrastructure, transportation, borders etc. Mr. Arditi was Director of the Counter Terrorism Bureau during the Second Lebanon War (2006) and later, as Head of Israel’s National Security Council. He was responsible for implementing many of the lessons learned from that war on the national level, specifically planning, readiness, and coordination.

Mr. Wisotzki is head of Global Physical Security for JPMorgan Chase. He is responsible for managing all physical security operations and teams in JPMorgan Chase facilities around the world. Mr. Wisotzki has 28 years of leadership experience as a Special Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, specializing in the areas of security, special operations, global counterterrorism and policy development. Mr. Wisotzki served in various roles throughout his career and represented U.S. Special Operations forces throughout the Middle East, the Pacific, Latin America, Europe and Africa.

Mr. Teuber is the Senior Operating Principal at Bridge Growth Partners, a private equity firm based in New York. He is also the former Vice Chairman of EMC Corporation, where he held the role from May 2006 until September 2016. From 2006 to 2012, he oversaw EMC’s Global sales and distribution organization, responsible for driving EMC’s growth and market leadership worldwide. He served as EMC’s Chief Financial Officer from 1996 to 2006. Before joining EMC, Mr. Teuber was a Partner at Coopers and Lybrand, now PriceWaterhouse Coopers from 1988 to 1995.
Mr. Teuber is a member of the board of directors of CRH, Popular Inc., and of Inovalon. He holds an MBA degree from Babson College, a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College, and a Bachelor’s degree from The College of the Holy Cross.

Steven has over 20 year of experience in investment banking and hedge fund. After starting with Societe Generale and BNP Paribas, Steven left the banking world to found and manage two of Europe’s largest global macro hedge funds. Both listed on the Irish Stock Exchange.

Steven is a visionary leader and advisor  to start-up tech companies in a wide range of areas of expertise including , cyber security; digital media; property development and sports management.
